UNESCO is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. It is comprised of 193 member states, and has more than 50 field offices around the world. For the 2010-2011 financial year it has a budget of more than US$650 million and an estimated global staff of 2,000.

Since their latest relaunch, the UNESCO website uses TYPO3. The multilanguage content including all official UN languages as well as Russian and Arabic and features such as an event calendar make perfect use of TYPO3's enterprise capabilities. TYPO3 is used by a majority of the global UN agencies including UNICEF, UNCHR and many more.
