The red dot design award is a large and coveted international product-design prize.  
With more than 12,000 submissions from over 60 countries, the red dot design award is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world, and the number of applicants has been rising steadily since its inception in 1955.

Not to be confused with the commercial content management system RedDot by Opentext, the red dot award is happy to run on Open Source and TYPO3.
