Medair is a non-governmental organization of humanitarian aid founded in 1989. Medair employs 50 people in Switzerland, United Kingdom, Germany, France and The Netherlands. Medair brings emergency relief and rehabilitation to over two million people a year in some of the most vulnerable countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia – countries that are severely affected by conflicts, natural disasters, or other crises. The organisation serves over 2.5 million beneficiaries a year. It operates from its headquarters in Switzerland and currently delivers nine programmes in eight African and Asian countries.

Medair's global web portal runs on TYPO3. Requirements like online payment and a newsletter with different layout templates made perfect use of the wide range of enterprise features and extensions.
