Pizza Hut is a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, Inc. (the world's largest restaurant company). It operates in 92 countries and territories throughout the world; last year alone it expanded restaurants into new 100 cities. As of year end 2009, Pizza Hut had 7,566 units in the U.S., and 5,715 units outside of the U.S. Pizza Hut used to be owned by PepsiCo but was sold in 1997.
