In April 2004 SANYO Component Europe GmbH was established as a merger of SANYO Energy (Europe) GmbH, the SANYO Electronic Devices Marketing Office and and SANYO Semiconductor Europe GmbH. Since then SANYO Component Europe represents in a unique combination products from various SANYO-Divisions in Europe. SANYO Electric Co. Ltd. to date has more than 130 group companies in 27 countries, and therefore is one of the 15 largest electronic companies in the world.
